You are if no one can find you. I’m sure you didn’t move into a high traffic building off one of our many freeways in Minnesota only to become invisible to those cars. Unfortunately, that is exactly what you created when you moved in then neglected the lighted exterior sign.
Now you have to spend thousands of dollars on other types of advertising to get traffic to find you. Have you stopped and asked how many people drive right past your door everyday?
So which type of sign…….
A lighted sign or a non lit sign?
With todays modern lighting signs, we can now make signs that run on very low power. In order to get the maximum effect from your exterior signs, you should have them lighted. This will allow your sign to be effective 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
But, you don’t know how much they cost so…..
You want an inexpensive lighted sign.
Yes, I have a zero cost budget as well. I want to spend the smallest amount of money for a lit sign. Before you determine the cost of the sign consider first a couple of other things.
- Will the lowest price sign be seen from the road?
- Will this lit sign bring me more traffic?
- Can people driving by understand the message?
The answers to these questions must be yes for all three. If you have a no on any of them, then immediately upgrade your sign package. If you invest too little in your sign package you WILL invest more in other forms of advertising. Besides, signs are not a huge expense anyways.
The budget for your sign should be in direct proportion to the amount of traffic driving past your business. I will bet that you will be surprised how inexpensive signs really are.
