That is a very loaded question, and all humor aside, I get this question frequently. In the sign world, size DOES matter.
Let me tell you a story:
I recently left Minnesota, the land of endless winter for San Diego forĀ a little r&r. Nearly everywhere I went, I struggled to find places that I was trying to go. Now ladies, no jokes about men and taking short cuts. The problem was that many of the wall signs and even pylon signs were just too small. What ended up happening was that I made many more U-Turns than usual.
In the real world however, people won’t typically make U-Turns. They simply will drive to the next one and hopefully see it’s sign in enough time to pull off the road. One hotel chain did some research to find out why they had so many cancellation. What they found was that many missed the hotels exit and simply drove to the next hotel, canceling their other reservation.
So, the real question is, Does SIGN size matter. Absolutely! One more thing. Why would you spend or rather save a few hundred bucks only to have too small of a sign?
The best way to get a client into your door, is when they are driving right in front of it.
Good signing
