Step 1 – Call around to find the right kind of banner or sign material
Step 2 – settle for whatever material you find because you still don’t want to pay the price for quality sign material
Step 3 – Find some paint, or paint markers to letter the banner or plywood.
Step 4 – Paint the lettering on your banner or sign
Step 5 – go back to step 2 and start over because you realize you can’t spell, or you spilled your paint
Step 6 – Tell yourself that it looks fine. (squinting will help, also leaning to one side if the lettering isn’t straight)
Step 7 – Hang your new sign in front of your business. Your potential clients can now see what you think about quality
Step 8 – Go rehang your sign because it blew down.
Step 9 – Tell yourself it looks fine. (stand real far away, like across town, it always looks good from there)

The above steps are just a glimpse at what you must do in order to make your own sign or banner. You still have to have the right message, consider the size of the lettering, and spend tons of time trying to figure out how to not make it look as stupid as it really is.
